 The crash was reported at about 8:20 a.m. on Highway 12 east of Kirkland Ranch Road, near American Canyon. 4 members of the same family were killed when their car was hit by two trucks. The driver of the Subaru Forester was identified as 48-year-old Matthew Jay Smith. Also killed was Matthew Smith's daughter, 19-year-old Laura Smith and Smith's parents, 80-year-old Richard Smith and 74-year-old Sally Smith
